Projects
Here is the schedule of the projects. Their realization is in the agenda of the centre. The centre has already begun the implementation of some of them together with its partners or is going to, but most of them need support from local or international charity organizations or Maesenas. Each project will be displayed on the web-site as a whole project or as a proposal.
1. The Office of the Centre - The centre of continuous ecological education for the
population;
2. Elaborate standards and methodological recommendations for eco-villages;
3. Elaborate methodological recommendations for creating eco-communities in big
cities;
4. Complex expedition in Caucasian eco-villages;
5. Conferences:
- The prospects for creating and development of eco-villages in Caucasus;
- The prospects for eco-community development in Tbilisi
6.Exhibition/competition: eco-settlement (projecting, building materials, furniture,
equipment, economy and alternative power)
7.Project sample eco-villages;
8.Construct a sample eco-village:
- Build 20 eco-houses for living;
- Complex economy:
· Orchard;
· Vegetable garden;
· Lab-farm of medical plants;
· Greenhouse;
· Mini plant for processing fruit and vegetable;
· Mini plant for first processing medical plants;
· Cattle farm;
· Establish irrigation system
· Tourist/health-recovering complex
· Educational centre (a complex for conferences and training)
· Mini power-station
· Forest-park
9. Traditional meetings (once in a fortnight) – discussions about eco-villages (is in the
process of implementation);
10.Traditional annual Congress of the Caucasian eco-villages;
11.Participation of the ‘eco-village’ representatives in the international events related to
eco-villages;
12.Get informed about the activities of the world known eco-villages;
13.Organize summer field schools for the youth;
14.Create publishing and printing houses for publishing methodological, cognitive and
other materials;
15.Establish video-studio. Make popular films ‘Caucasian Eco-villages’, World famous
eco-villages’, prepare and launch television program cycles about eco-villages;
16.Elaborate recommendations and agri-technologies to arrange eco-farms for certain
eco-villages;
17.Prepare and publish a collection: Lessons for health
18.Create mechanized station for Kakheti local community;
19.Form an enterprise for processing ecological building materials;
20.Establish handicraft shops;
21.Complete the main part of the English version of the web-site and prepare and
launch the Russian one;
22.Establish Youth Eco Club;
23.Support creating realization centres for eco-products in the capitals of south
Caucasus.
