NGO Green Earth (GE) is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organisation. The main goal of Green Earth is to motivate and assist people and improved environmental protection and sustainable development.
Green Earth consists of 250 members: scientists and professors from the University, teachers, energy experts, policymakers, young specialists, businessmen and students.
Objectives:
- creation and utilisation of environmental
protective systems by usaging of renewable
energy resources; - environmental awareness and environmental
education; - public participation in EIA; - participation in environmental campaigns and
actions; - publishing books, brochures, leaflets and organise TV and radio programmes; - give expertise at the sustainable development all aspects; - implementing of joint projects;
Science 1996, is a member of European Environmental Bureau (EEB); Youth and Environment In Europe (YEE); International Engineering Association and International Solar Energy Society (ISES).
Since 1995 organize and coordinate at the several Regional and International projects.
In 1995 I was a coordinate regional project: Use of Solar Energy at the Heat Water Supply.
In 1996; 1997; 1998; 1999, 2000 and 2001 organize at the International projects together with UN/ECE organize and published collection of papers of the conference “Energy and Environment”.
In 1999 co-ordinate International 18 month project: Publishing Transcaucasian Ecological Electronic Bulletin in Internet” – http//caucasus.virtualave.net . In this project participated NGO from Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan. Funded by OSI Assistance Foundation.
In 2000 Coordinate Georgia-Azerbaijan joint project: Voice of Kaspian Sea. Funded by USAID Central Asia.
In 1999 November Coordinate Georgia-Azerbaijan joint project: Ecoslet ALAZANI. Funded by ISAR-Azer and HORISONTI Geo.
Participate at the NATO programe, project name: Flow Scale effective Bio-reactor for Production of Gaz, Heat and Electricity in Georgian Farms.
In 2000 and 2001 implemented project “Forest Action”, funded by Geocell – under this project we planted 15000 trees in Kakheti, and this event was nominated in France (Canne) at the GSM World Congress.
In 2001 coordinate project “Development of Eco-Turism at South Caucasus”, participate NGO from Armenia, Azerbaidjan and Georgia. Funded by Eurasia Foundation
Organized Festivals – “Sun in Our Life”-1996 and SUNDAY 97 Organizing Festival – SUNDAY’98 (nominate at the European Solar Congress in UK,
Brighton, as best event at the Europe) Organized TV and Radio programs - Organized training programmes
